| About your Tour |
At the India Travel Centre, we believe that a tour should be about more than just booking a flight and accommodation. We believe that It should be about a carefully planned journey of discovery which meets the expectations of the traveller.
A holiday is an opportunity for encounters with friendly local people with distinct cultures preserved through time honoured customs; a time to escape from the normal rigmarole of everyday life; an opportunity for adventure, exploration and it’s a wonderful time to relax, sit back and inhale the beautiful environment that surrounds you.
Whilst we are headquartered in the UK, we also have an office in Sri Lanka to ensure that we have more control over the quality of your tour and ensure that you have a memorable experience.
All of our tours featured in this brochure and on our website are private, contained and individual tours. We also operate fixed date group tours throughout the year, so please enquire if this is of interest to you.

Tour Classification
Your tours have been classified into the following categories based in the type of accommodation featured:
Deluxe: : Luxury class standards of accommodation and service, usually with an excellent range of facilities.
Superior: First class standards of accommodation and service, usually with a good range of facilities.
Standard: Comfortable accommodation, usually with a limited range of facilities.
Tailor made tours
Whilst we feel that we have created a comprehensive range of tours to meet most people’s interest, we are not so naïve to believe that these will satisfy everyone. We therefore encourage you to thoroughly research your trip and if there is anything that you would like to add, change or extend on the tours that we feature or if you would like to tailor- make your own from scratch, then we will assist you in doing so as part of our service.
What makes our tours unique?
Flexibility - All our tours, whether featured in this brochure or tailor- made, are designed in keeping in mind your requirements on a holiday. Whilst we recommend interesting excursions and activities enroute or in the different places that you will be staying in, you have the freedom to chose what you want to do on any given day.
Customer Service - On arrival and at each new destination on your journey you will be met at the airport, station or quay by a India Travel Centre representative, who will accompany you to your hotel, help with your check in and discuss the itinerary for your stay.
Security - You will be given a 24- hour contact number providing you with the assurance and support that we are only a phone call away if you require our assistance.
Freedom - For all journeys you will have your own chauffeured vehicle with an English speaking driver at your disposal. You have the freedom to stop off along the way if you see something of interest and want to take a photograph, indulge in some shopping on the way or simply stretch your legs during a long journey.
Private Guide - Depending on the requirements of the tour, you are accompanied by your own private English speaking guide. This means that you can ask as many or as few questions as you like and take sightseeing trips.
Railway Journeys - If your tour includes a train journey, your overnight luggage remains in the vehicle, to be transferred to the accommodation that you will be staying at that evening.
We love to be tested
Depending on your interests there is so much more to India than we can possibly feature in our brochure on our website. Previous request from our clients have included school visits, fishing trips, village experiences, charity events, yoga classes and educational trips. So never hesitate to tell us what exactly it is that you wish to achieve on your next trip to India.
