Detailed Itinerary :
DAY 01 – Arrival Chennai
Welcomed by Kerala Travel Centre representative at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Chennai is the capital of Tamil Nadu and the fourth largest metropolitan city in India. It has emerged as a cosmopolitan city, paying an important role in the historical, cultural and intellectual development of India, still representing the distinct components of the highest form of Dravidian civilization. In addition, it holds out an interesting fare of South Indian architecture, music, dance, drama, sculpture and other arts and crafts. Rest of the day at Leisure at the bustling city. DAY 02 – Chennai – Mysore (by train)
By Shatabdi Express – 2007 – dep. 06:00 / Arr. 13:00 – except Tuesday (subject to change) In the morning drive to Chennai central railway station to board train to Mysore. Mysore was once a political capital of the Wodeyar dynasty, where the kings were great patrons of art and culture. It is a city of palaces, gardens, sacred temples and retains some of the charm of the old world until today, with its many institutions of Carnatic Classical music and dance. Mysore is a center of sandalwood, silk production and incense and belongs to one of South India's most popular attractions. On arrival, transfer to hotel and rest of the day at leisure. DAY 03 – Mysore
Enjoy sightseeing of Mysore, starting with the famous palace that used to be the residence of the Wodeyars dynasty. Built in 1912 in an Indo-Saracenic style, it is one of the largest palaces in India. Then, visit the Jayachamrajendra Art Gallery, gathering a collection of paintings dating back to 1875. Drive to the Chamundi hill, with a stop at the bull temple & visit the 2000-year-old temple, dedicated to Goddess Chamundi. Overnight at the Hotel. (Vehicle at disposal)

DAY 04 – Mysore – Kabini (90 km/2 ½ hrs)
Drive to Kabini, scenic place that was a scenic delight-hunting lodge of the Mysore Maharajahs. Check-in to your hotel. Kabini is located 80 km from Mysore near the famous Nagarahole Wildlife National Park and the backwaters of the Kabini River. It covers an area of 643 km² and is an integral part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve. Kabini provides you a wonderful scenic view of the green landscape. The area is full of life and a real natural beauty. You could spot elephants, leopards, antelopes and even tigers if you are lucky. Overnight at the Resort. (Vehicle at disposal)

DAY 05 – Kabini
Today you could go for a Jeep Safari in the morning and afternoon. You may also go for an Elephant ride and Coracle ride. Overnight at the Resort. (Vehicle at disposal)

DAY 06 – Kabini – Sulthan Bathery (31 km/1 hr)
Drive through winding roads in the hills covered with thick forests, coffee, rubber and tea estates, crop plantations to Sulthan Bathery. Check-in to a plantation estate tucked in a 400-acre coffee and spice plantation. Today you could visit the Edakkal Caves. It is a pre-historic rock shelter formed naturally out of a strange disposition of three huge boulders. Overnight at the Hotel. (Vehicle at disposal)

DAY 07 – Sulthan Bathery
Today you could visit the Wayanad sanctuary where one can find animals like sloth bears, sambhar (wild deer), elephants, monkeys, tigers, reptiles, deer, panthers and many species of rare birds. Overnight at the Hotel. (Vehicle at disposal)

DAY 08 – Sulthan Bathery – Tellicherry (120 Km / 3hrs)
Drive to Thalassery (or Tellicherry as the British christened it during the times of the Raj), a vibrant fishing town in the north of Calicut which is famous for the 3 C's- Circus, Cricket and Cakes. It is known for being the first British settlement in Kerala and needless to say Cakes and Cricket were both introduced here by the British. Telicherry is famous all over today for its bakeries and cakes. It is also rich in culture and traditions of the North of Kerala. Overnight at the Hotel. (Vehicle at disposal)

DAY 09 – Tellicherry
Today you could visit the bustling fish markets of Tellicherry or visit the ancient fort built by the British. You could also drive to the fascinating Muzhipillangad Beach which is Kerala's only drive-in beach where you can drive along miles of virgin white sands or laze on the beach and be mesmerized by the beauty of the place. In the evening take part in a cookery demonstration by Faiza your hostess, who is renowned for her 'Mopilla' cuisine? Overnight at the Hotel.

DAY 10 – Tellicherry – Neeleshwaram (270 Km/5 hrs)
Drive to Neeleshwaram which is situated towards the Northern end of Kerala and tourism is yet to take off in this region and you can be assured of being in a beach un-spoilt by touristic activity. Rest of the day at leisure on the beach. Overnight at the Hotel. (Vehicle at disposal)

DAY 11 – Neeleshwaram
Today you visit the Bekal Fort, the largest and best preserved fort in Kerala, stands amidst the roaming but heartening music of the seas along with the eternal note of the unending waves, carrying the thrilling memories of a bygone era. Overnight at the Hotel. (Vehicle at disposal)

DAY 12 – Neeleshwaram
Day at leisure for your own activity. Overnight at the Hotel. (No Vehicle)

DAY 13 – Neeleshwaram – Calicut (125 km/3 ½ hrs)
On arrival, check-in to you hotel where you can unwind. It was in Calicut that the great voyager Vasco Da Gama landed in the 14th century in his quest for spices thus putting it on the world map. The traditional capital of North Kerala and a leading trading centre for spices on the west, the city has retained its glorious past and presents travellers with historic sites and a unique culture. DAY 14 – Calicut – Departure
Departure transfer to Calicut airport for onward flight. (Vehicle for transfer)
