| Detailed Itinerary : |
DAY 01: Arrival Delhi On arrival at Delhi you will be welcomed by an ITC representative at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Relax and unwind on your first day in Delhi. Overnight at the hotel. (Vehicle for transfer only)
Day 02: Delhi After breakfast we will go on a sightseeing tour of Delhi. As the capital city of India, its former rulers always prized Delhi for its strategic location. A visit to Old Delhi is always an experience. Walk through the ancient bustling, twisting alleyways of Chandni Chowk, the bazaar area and the Red Fort as well as the Jama Masjid (India's biggest mosque). For those who want to see more, there is the Raj Ghat where Gandhi was cremated and which today is a peaceful and popular park. The British built New Delhi, carefully planning the city and the main metropolitan area, when they moved their capital here from Calcutta in 1911. With many interesting museums and art galleries, and several monuments constructed by the mighty Mughal Emperors such as Humayun's Tomb and the Qutab Minar, there is plenty to explore in Delhi. Drive past the India Gate and the Rashtrapati Bhawan (The Presidential Palace). Visit also the prominent Sikh temple at Bangla Sahib. Delhi is a shopper's paradise. It is one big emporium for all of India's handicrafts, and home to some of the best contemporary designers that India can boast of. This energetic city now has good dining and nightlife options to complement its considerable historical and architectural interest. Overnight at the hotel. (Vehicle at disposal)
Day 03: Delhi – Jodhpur - Bhenswara (by Flight and Road) After breakfast at the hotel you will be transferred to the Domestic Airport to board the flight for Jodhpur. You will be met at Jodhpur and driven to Bhenswara (2 hours). The Ravla or castle at Bhenswara was built by Jagat Singhji Rathore around 240 years ago, in a typical Rajput architectural style and has more recently been refurbished to the taste of the residing Thakur (Lord) of Bhenswara. This heritage hotel is run 'personally' by Kunwar Shiv Pratap Singh and his wife Uma Kunwar, great hosts who excel in taking care of their guests. The Ravla has 30 well appointed rooms and suites done in traditional decor with different colour themes. It is situated in the center of the village on the northern bank of the River Jawai. The village has a population of about 5000 people of different castes and clans and is a wonderful place to explore to see the different tribes still clad in traditional clothes, tending their flocks and farming the land. A few kilometers away stands the Srana mountain range which is made up of granite rocks and boulders providing the perfect hiding place for leopards – one of the main reasons to visit Bhenswara. After arrival, spend the rest of the day at leisure, enjoying the pool or exploring the village. In the evening enjoy a leopard safari. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: Bhenswara Morning at leisure. In the evening we will go on another leopard safari. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Bhenswara - Rohet (By Road - 1.5 hours) After breakfast at the hotel you will be driven to Rohet. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Rohet is the fortified desert home of the descendants of the Rathores of the Champawat clan. The "Jagir" (Fiefdom) of Rohet was bestowed, on Thakur Dalpat Singh I by the Maharaja of Jodhpur, as a mark of appreciation for his bravery in battle. Generations of valiant noblemen have added to this heritage home where, not withstanding the inroads of modernity, aristocratic values are respected. Rohetgarh has pioneered a unique tour, which introduces its guests to local cultures and traditions. Because of the host family's special bond with different communities among the local people which goes back several generations, you are taken into homes and received with warmth and affection, an experience which often eludes the ordinary tourist.
Day 06: Rohet After breakfast at the hotel we will take a drive to visit the Bishnoi Villages. Spend the afternoon at leisure at the hotel. Relax by the pool or go for a walk in the village or on an escorted nature walk in the locality. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 8: Rohet - Jodhpur – Osian (by Road) After breakfast at hotel we will drive to Jodhpur (45 min). On arrival we will visit the Meherangarh Fort. There are many great fortresses all over Rajasthan, but very few can compare with Mehrangarh Fort. Perched on a rocky cliff, it has a commanding view of the surrounding landscape. This palace complex within the fort was first built in the 15th Century and later added to, over the centuries by successive generations of Maharajas. It is one of the most impressive royal complexes in Rajasthan. After seeing the fort we will continue to Osiyan (1.5hours) and on arrival check-in at the hotel. Overnight in Osian. The Camel Camp is located near Osian Village, close to the first sand dune of the Thar Desert. The Camel Camp is part of the Safari Club that was started by Reggie Singh, Grandson of Maharaj Ratan Singh a Royal Polo Player of the erstwhile state of Jodhpur. The Club started with offering Safari's into the desert around Jodhpur, till Reggie's love for adventure lured him towards the camping business and thus was born the Camel Camp at Osian. He bought the highest sand dunes in Osian and set up this wonderful camp, the first and only one of its kind. The tents are very comfortably furnished; there is a hunting style restaurant with the only jazz bar in Rajasthan, as well as a splendid swimming pool. This ancient village of Osian is the gateway to the Thar Desert and is legendary for it's mesmerizing 6th / 8th century temples, sand-dunes and diversity of Rajasthani culture and tradition.
Day 9: Osian In the morning we will proceed on a camel safari. You will get to see the proud local Bishnoi tribe consisting of shepherds, potters, weavers etc., in their natural surroundings.
